BOARDING - We specialise in Schnauzers, experienced in many breeds
Each & every pooch that enters our house are treated as one of our own. All breeds are welcome at The Dog House, however we do also specialise in Schnauzers. Although I am the main frame of the business; all of the family accommodate our canine guests, we quite often go out walking together, we're certainly very lucky to be surrounded by some beautiful hotspots. We like to keep to the same routine as you would at home i.e. feeding, walking & sleeping arrangements etc.
We also go out on day trips too, we are regulars at Castle Grounds, Dosthill Park, Kingsbury Water Park & Planters Doggy Café. The business is fully insured for your dogs to travel in my vehicles & we will supply the correct seatbelt restraints for them too.
Whether it be camping in tents in the garden or splashing in the family swimming pool, your furry friends will be guaranteed a fab time at The Dog House!
Please bring their regular food, & any personal items you may want them to have . . . . . & let us do the rest.
** Please note; we are not Kennels, & do not have any kennels. We have crates available for dogs that choose to use them, at their own free will.
** We are not insured to care for ANY animal listed under The Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 OR any unsprayed bitches, or un-neutered males.
** Upon the advice of our Inspector; we WILL NOT take any new dogs over, what we consider a medium height, as we have a reactive large Labradoodle on Daycare, unfortunately he does not like bigger breeds. He has been our Client since Day 1 & he will take priority I'm afraid. I understand you will respect my decision for the safety of your dog.

If your dates are booked, get your dogs dates booked, to avoid disappointment.
DAYCARE
We offer daycare for small - medium dogs, we also offer regular spaces, where you will receive a weekly or monthly invoice. Daycare & boarding are not segregated, we're all friends in our house. Daycare is very much the same routine as the Boarders, except you can collect your pet at any agreed time.
We do have 2 separate gardens (with individual access to inside the house) & can separate dogs in cases of illness, or even when 'time out' is needed. Our registration forms also allow me to communicate with your chosen vet, on your behalf. The dogs have full access to outside areas and can freely go in/out the large dog flap as they please, walks will be scheduled throughout the day too. Our gardens are completely secure, equipped with full height perimeters, live recording security cameras covering both gardens & the full driveway, double entry system to avoid any escapees & Security lights for darker evenings/early mornings.
The dogs behaviour is constantly monitored & safety is Principal. We have purposely designed gates & barn doors inside the house to keep dogs away from any external doorways and upstairs.
It is part of our Licensing conditions that every client and their dog attends a pre booked Meet & Greet at our house, before agreeing to Daycare or Boarding; this enables me to informally measure their behaviour so I am fully educated as to which dogs they can associate with.
We don't like to take risks & if I feel any dogs mixed together will not get on, then I'm afraid we will not be able to take your booking for that particular date, we will however, happily recommend other local boarders for you that may better suit your needs.
My schnauzers & our Daycare clients love having new boarders in to play with, your pooch will certainly sleep on their return home!

PLEASE NOTE ON THE DATES OF DEC 24TH, 25TH, 26TH, NEW YEARS EVE & NEW YEARS DAY WILL BE CHARGED AT TIME AND A HALF.
ALL DOGS THAT COME TO THE DOG HOUSE MUST BE UP TO DATE WITH VACCINATIONS, FLEA & WORMING TREATMENTS, PROVIDED WITH THEIR OWN FOOD, AND IF NEEDS BE, BEDDING.
